For instance you can learn about the three ghosts af Dragsholm Castle.
The trail is free of charge, and you can get a map in the reception.

Book a guided tour on the Fairytrail

Take family and friends on an adventurous experience at Sanddobberne. 10 large, imaginative paintings are hidden in selected places on the site, and you can get a trail map at Reception – absolutely free!
Or you can book a guided tour with artist Ida Trier, if you want to hear the stories behind the pictures, and how they were made.
In the gallery you can buy a small booklet with the pictures and little stories, and you can also buy an adventure mug to take home.

Childrens disco

All children are welcome to join the children’s disco, when Dennis and Katha (from Germany) ignite the disco rhythms and serve children’s drinks etc. from the bar. Join us for stop dancing, competitions, karaoke or various other games, and practice your English and German language.

Thursdays at 18.30-20.30: 13th July, 20th July, 27th July and 3th August.
Campsite guests pay DKK 25 and guests from outside pay DKK 50 to join.
Payment: Buy a ticket on the button below, pay at Reception or via Mobilepay on the day.

Game evenings

Everyone is welcome in Gårdhaven these evenings, when the bar is open from 19 o´clock, at reasonable prices, and where you can meet other guests and employees. Bring your own games, or borrow them from the bar.
Fridays: May 16th, june 20th, july 18th, august 1th and september 12th.

Nature workshops

Sanddobbernes nature workshop is open to everyone, and there are activities depending on the weather. We make e.g. fire if its not too dry and sometimes food on the fire. Cuddle with the bunnies or get your face painted. A really good place to meet new friends!

Orange tractor drives the Prairie wagon

Every saturday and sunday in the high season (first time sunday 8th June until Sunday 10th August) Ove drives with Orange Tractor, and the Prairie wagon behind. Join in by the bouncy pads at 11 0´clock or hop on along the way. The trip is free, and it is the parents’ responsibility to look after the children along the way.

Wish for a ride outside highseason? Ask in the reception.

A cosy time at the campsite

There are three playgrounds (the round icon with the child on the ground map). The playground you meet first is with two bouncy cushions, swings, climbing wall and the silent playhouse “Havhuset”. In the middle of the site you will find a nature playground with a lovely view, and at the back of the square facing the road, you will find the playground for the smaller children, which we call the Ship.

The Fairytrail consists of ten large pictures, painted by Ida Trier. Follow the little mouse and discover the magic of nature on land, at sea and in the air.
The Excercise trail leads you all over the site with different challenges. Pick up a map in the Reception for free.
The ghosttrail is a new event, behind the rear servicebuilding.
There are several oases for children and young people, e.g. The exercise container, the nature workshop (with rabbit cage, bonfire and face painting) or the hammock park. The prairie wagon, which the tractor pulls around the site every Sunday morning in the high season, now stops at the climbing wall and jumping pads.
There are creative workshops in the Activity Room every Wednesday at 15-17 in high season.
In “Gårdhaven” there are several pleasant events, and everyone is welcome (but dogs must be kept on a lead).

New gallery at Sanddobberne

This year’s news is that Sanddobberne has opened its own small gallery, with local art and a gift stall.
It is open every Wednesday from 10-12 and 14-18, where there is also a creative workshop from 15-17. We keep the gallery open as much as possible, and if you would like to come in and take a look on a day when it is closed, call +45 26172603 (Ida Trier) and ask if we can open.

Orienteering trail

The orientation path’s ten posts take you on a tour around the site, e.g to the large compass. You can pick up a free map and an answer sheet at the Reception, and then the route starts at the large bouncy cushion and the climbing wall. The site may be bigger and more exciting than you know!

Excercise in nature

Camping life is, among other things, nice because you are close to nature. At Sanddobberne you are right in the middle of Odsherred’s Ice Age landscape, with beach, heather, dunes, hills, forest and fields. There are hiking trails, jogging and cycling routes for every taste. You can practice water sports, extreme sports and fishing – rowing in a kayak or simply take a swim in the clear water.
You can rent two kayaks, SUP boards and bicycles at the Reception.
